Career Guidance Conference & Exhibition 2009
5-6 November at the Hilton Blackpool
Poster event - small-scale research
Have you undertaken a small research project? Are you willing to talk to others about what you did and how you did it, as well as discussing some of the challenges you may have faced?
ICG is keen to provide a space where members can share their involvement with small-scale research. This might be a research study undertaken in the workplace (practitioner research) or as part of a master's degree or PhD. It may also relate to research you are planning or hoping to undertake. We intend to offer an informal workshop as an opportunity to share experiences and views.
New at conference this year is a poster event, running on the Friday. Anyone engaged in small-scale research is invited to display a poster explaining their work, as a basis for discussing with others both the process of undertaking research and the results of their study. The poster event will be open only to those attending conference and will offer a really valuable opportunity to share your research.
ICG's Research Committee is co-ordinating the poster event, and an information sheet is available to download on the right, or by email from at ICG.
