The context of career guidance continues to undergo significant changes which offer huge challenges to managers and practitioners in terms of service delivery and this year's awards reflect these new challenges.
The categories for entry are;
Projects: A) Working with young people in pre-14 learning B) Working with young people in 14-19 learning C) Working with students in post 19 learning D) Working with adults E) Initiatives focusing on social inclusion F) Working with employees and trainees in the workplace G) Research - There are three awards in this category; i) Research undertaken by an individual ii) Research undertaken by an organisation iii) Research undertaken by a student (NEW for 2008)
Outstanding Contribution to Guidance Delivery : H) Career Guidance Practitioner of the Year 2008 I) Careers Teacher of the Year 2008
Please note that the category G iii) has a separate set of entry guidelines.

The winners will have the opportunity to collect their award at the glittering ceremony on 14 November, held as part of the ICG Annual Career Guidance Conference and Exhibition.
