The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) would like to invite
Careers and Science Teachers
on a tour of London on 16 May 2008

You will be accompanied by some of the senior civil, electrical and mechanical engineers, architects, builders and surveyors who built it. They will take you on a tour of the capital and provide you with an insight into the skills and challenges required by the professionals working to build our infrastructure.

To pursue a career in the built environment requires A Levels in Science, Maths and Physics. There is currently a national skills shortage of professionals working in engineering and the built environment and we are keen to attract and inform as many high achieving science students as possible into this rewarding profession.

In order to do this we feel it is vital to involve you too, so you fully understand the different aspects of engineering and construction and the opportunities your students could have.
