Institute of Career Guidance Membership Categories

The Institute of Career Guidance is the leading organisation representing the sector in the UK, and anyone with an interest in career guidance can become a member. 

Full Members of the Institute of Career Guidance:

• Work in or have an interest in career guidance
• Support the Mission and Aims of the Institute
• Practise within the ICG Code of Ethical Practice

The Institute operates a single membership renewal date of 1st April; members joining later in the year will be charged a percentage of the annual fee.  

Individual Membership
Full Member	£109.00
Full Member (Lower Income)  if earning £16,000 per annum or less	£74.00
Full Member (Retired) over 50 but wishes to be kept informed of developments in guidance	£63.00
Full Member (Unwaged) open to a newly qualified student still seeking work, or a practitioner who is currently unemployed	£36.00
Student Members Studying full or part time at a further or higher education institution	£36.00
Institutional Membership

Organisational Membership For organisations employing up to four guidance professionals, with an interest in the provision of career guidance, which subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the Institute. One named employee of the organisation receives the full benefits of ICG membership. Organisations may use the Organisational Member logo on their literature.	£450.00
Lifetime Membership
Lifetime Full Member Lifetime full members must be aged 50 or over	£925.00
Lifetime Full Members (Retired) Lifetime membership if you are retired	£250.00
