ICG President Kieran Gordon recently attended a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group of the National Skills Forum.

The ICG, in collaboration with other organisations will be following this up in order to raise the issue of the Statutory Duty of the SoS.

Kieran Gordon met recently with John Hayes, one of the Conservative Shadow Education and Skills team.

The Government is considering a shift in education policy in the UK. It has been reported that young people will be required to stay in school, training or workplace training until the age of 18.
