Quality of HE guidance |
I am a private practitioner and am finding graduates coming from all over the country to me because the do not seem to getting the advice and follow through they need to get into gradaute employment opportunities either from their qualifying university or from ones operating reciprocal arrangements. Also receiprocal arrangements seem very ad hoc, some universities do it others don't. There is a real lack of advice happening on HE courses/ or for undergraduates themselves particularly in non-vocational areas. Have others found this? What can be done to raise or improve this situation as clearly the graduates I see are very lost. |
