The new Diplomas were launched earlier this year and will bring about a major change in the learning framework for young people in England
Carola Eason
Carola has worked in education for over 25 years. Recently she has spent most of her time working with 14-19 partnerships preparing for the Gateway process and supporting managers and practitioners on areas such as information, advice and guidance, employer engagement and collaborative practices. She has supported a number of projects across the country to develop best practice in vocationally related qualifications in preparation for the 14-19 curriculum reforms.
Carola has both teaching and management experience in schools, tertiary colleges and further education colleges across the country, working in open learning, curriculum development and learner services roles at management level. She has extensive experience of policy implementation at management level, having worked with agencies such as Becta, NIACE, Connexions and the DfES. Carola currently works part-time for AQA-City & Guilds as a Diploma Advisor, supporting successful Gateway Consortia to implement their Diplomas.
Carola is also involved as a Lead Consultant for the Diploma Support programme managed by LSN on behalf of QIA and SSAT. |
