Consultation on the Development of a Probationary Framework for Career Guidance Practitioners

 18 Sep 2006

The current career guidance qualifications do not provide any structured framework for immediate post-entry training and development. In the absence of this, a range of approaches have been developed and implemented in different parts of the UK.

ICG is undertaking a consultation to determine the level of support for the development of a 'probationary period'/other framework for anyone who has completed initial training (either QCG, NVQ 4 or other acceptable qualifications) to consolidate their practice in their first year, which would be endorsed by ICG as the professional body. We are seeking responses from a wide range of individuals and organisations.

If you would like to participate, please complete the questionnaire (right) and return it to Sue Holden by 31 October 2006.
