Elsewhere on this forum I have said "The world does need careers guidance, and we need to ensure the public understand our worth, so what could we be doing? Perhaps this is a focus for our meet up?"
Would you be interested in some visioning groups around this when we do organise our 1st meeting? |

| I would attend something if I felt there was a mixture of discussion and presentation from those running an independent guidance business/experts. For example aspects of how to run a business i.e. business link or from those already running a business. Practical stuff like how to get your charging right would help me! Discussions on ethical issues- supervision in private practice, confidentality and data protection, ethical dilema discussion (confidentality acknoweldged). A list of support agencies who can help from setting up to expanding would be helpful. Aspects of business also like How to do effective networking and also How to market your business. |
