Personal Adviser

Nicky is a Connexions Personal Adviser working in schools in North Buckinghamshire, qualified via the NVQ 4 route. She is the lead Personal Adviser for two local schools and also undertakes project work, for example she is currently project manager for some self-esteem workshops for young women.

Nicky works with a wide range of clients aged from 13 to 19, including teen parents and young people who are disengaged from learning.  

She particularly enjoys providing guidance for A-level students unsure about their post-18 options and UCAS choices.

Before becoming a Personal Adviser Nicky has worked as a teacher of English & Special Educational Needs and as an advisor for the Department for Work and Pensions.
