Phil Spooner Job Title/Employment Phil has many years experience in the career guidance field and has worked as a generic and specialist adviser with all age groups and ability levels, especially focused on progressive support for job seekers and career changers. He specialises with quality development in areas such as networking and partnership to improve delivery standards to clients and with staff development, as a qualified NVQ assessor and internal verifier for the advice and guidance awards. |

He was SW Branch Chair 1992-93 and SW representative on both the ICG Council and NAEGA Executive between the period 1992-98 helping to steer the recognition and growth of all-age guidance services. More recently he has dealt with the management challenges moving advisers from Careers to Connexions services and presently has a Commissioning Manager (Connexions Services) post following secondments at Government Office South West in Bristol and DCSF Sheffield assisting developments with Connexions partnerships, curriculum reform, integrated youth support services and local area agreements .
