More than 60 leading employers have pledged their support for the new Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Accountancy, launched across England and Wales. The latest stage of this more practically focused route into the profession has already attracted over 300 registrations via industry training providers.
The Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship framework was developed by the Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC), with input from employers and accountancy bodies. Like the existing Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeships, training towards this new level will be eligible for public funding.
The Higher Apprenticeship offered by employers and training providers will combine both academic and practical knowledge, arming candidates with valuable skills and, most importantly, on-the-job experience.
