The world's first 'pre-employment' networking site designed to connect talented individuals with potential employers has gone live to students across the UK, allowing registrations in advance of a full launch next month.
BraveNewTalent.com will give individuals the opportunity to create their own professional profile, listing qualifications, skills and interests, and then connect to their desired employers online. As well as enabling individuals to learn more about potential employers, the site will help recruiting companies reach a wider pool of talent at an earlier stage in the recruitment process.
BraveNewTalent.com will also connect with existing social networks such as Facebook, meaning users will be able to create their professional profiles alongside their current social profiles.
Managing Director and Founder of Brave New Talent, Lucian Tarnowski, says, "The rise in popularity of social networking means the internet presents a phenomenal opportunity to turn the way that talent and employers connect with each other on its head.
"For individuals, BraveNewTalent.com provides an opportunity to heighten their visibility amongst their dream employers. At the same time they will be able to find out more about what it's like to work for an organisation by browsing the employer's online company profile and networking with current employees.
"For employers, BraveNewTalent.com will provide a new route to talent, making the process of recruitment much simpler and more efficient. With blue chips currently spending on average £5000 recruiting each graduate, the site could slash the cost of recruitment for major corporates."
Brave New Talent will initially launch in the student market in the UK and India, but aims to expand globally. The company has the support of the UK Government (UKTI) which views it as 'a technology company of exceptional potential'.
