ICG contributing to CDWC activities

 28 Jul 2008

In the past couple of weeks two CWDC commissioned activities have emerged.

The first relates to a review of National Occupational Standards for LDSS - following representation the ICG will now be represented on the expert Task and Finish Group by Alan Lewis, the secretary of the Professional Development Committee.

The second is a planned analysis of the occupations and functions of the Children and Young People Workforce which came to the attention of the ICG accidentally. Following discussions, the consultants carrying out the exercise on behalf of the CWDC are aware of the potential contribution to be made by the Institute who are now invited to participate in the consultation. Colleagues elsewhere in the sector have been made aware of these developments.
