Youth Taskforce from DCSF

 11 Oct 2007

A new Youth Taskforce has been established at the Department for Children, Schools and Families to focus on delivering positive outcomes for young people - including steps to prevent them getting into trouble and encouraging them to have respect for their community.

The new taskforce, created from the Respect Taskforce, will be headed up by Anne Weinstock, who established Millennium Volunteers and the Connexions Service after a long career in the voluntary sector. Her most recent job has been as a director in the Department in charge of the supporting children and young people group.

Further information is available from the DCSF http://www.dfes.gov.uk/
