New trials for businesses to train their employees to Level 3

 27 Jun 2007

The trials are being carried out by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) in the North West and the West Midlands.

Businesses wishing to train their employees to achieve a Level 3 qualification can now get support from the LSC as part of the trials. The trial is mainly aimed at businesses with less than 250 employees and is only available to those that do not already have a Level 3 qualification. The LSC provide 67.5% of the funding for each learner, with employers paying the remainder of the fees.
