The DfES is developing a programme of support which will be launched to accompany the roll out of the first phase of specialised diplomas.
The first successful consortia will be notified on March 28th and receive a support pack containing information including funding, diploma administration, marketing and communication and IAG.
Support for IAG will be through a number of strands;
- Standards for the delivery & commissioning of IAG services for students 11-19
- A web based programme of CPD accessible through CEGNET from the end of March 07.
- Guidance on opt-out for successful consortia available through CEGNET & ECM Website.
- Further support through CEGNET
In addition, a range of materials & information events will be available for teaching & guidance personnel. |
