Rebecca Goodman has taken over Simon Ashby 's role of Communications Manager at the Institute of Career Guidance as of the 6th November 2006 .
Her background is as a media and communications postgraduate at Coventry University where she recently completed her MA in Applied Communication. During her MA she specialised in the writing of press releases, communications strategies and the study of political communications, in particular usage of the internet as a communications tool.
She has an interest in working with young people and has been employed as a mentor and administrator with a variety of education companies within the West Midlands .
