President attends NICEC research event

 28 Sep 2006

ICG President Dr Rachel Mulvey attended a NICEC event at the University of Glamorgan earlier this month. The event brought together stakeholders in career guidance who are interested in research - as critical consumers, researchers, respondents and commisioners.

One clear point of consensus was the need to make it easier for practitioners to access research - there was a concern about readability and about accessibility.

Nicec is keen to work with people in Wales on joint projects, and although no concrete suggestions for collaboration were made in the room , there was plenty of interest.

ICG will keep members informed of future plans and whether there is an opportunity for you as a member to be involved.
