ICG have been successul in their Leonardo Project bid.
The ICG is one of 8 partners in a project proposal to develop a European Accreditation Scheme for Career Guidance Counsellors which has been approved by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission.
The partners agencies are drawn from Italy, Spain and Slovakia together with Canterbury Christchurch University and the ICG from the UK. In addition the developed accreditation scheme will be tested in Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta ,Poland and Romania.
The key phases in the project relate to:
- Analysis of existing accreditation schemes
- Developing the European model
- Testing the European model
- Producing an accreditation guide
The ICG will lead on testing the accreditation scheme in the UK whilst Canterbury Christchurch University in carrying out the study of existing schemes. |
